The International Committee promotes relationships among ATCA members and the critics of other countries who belong to their national sections of the International Association of Theatre Critics.

What we do
Committee Chairperson Responsibilities:
- Represent the U.S. at IATC executive committee meetings and handle relations with its members with diplomacy, stature and tact
- Serve as a conduit between IATC and ATCA, alerting our membership to international opportunities, especially IATC seminars (Young and Experienced)
- Coordinate any ATCA offerings in the IATC sphere (seminars, executive committee meetings, and a World Congress in the U.S.
- Work to ensure that the U.S. is reelected at each biennial Congress to the IATC executive committee
- Alert membership to Experienced Critics Seminars and Young Critics Seminars. Goal: Have at least one U.S. applicant to each seminar.
- Distribute and convey value of IATC cards. Goal: Have every member who travels benefit from use of the card.
- Communicate to membership through Web updates, Web site, Critics Annual and at conferences. Goal: Provide frequent, thorough and timely updates.
